Dr. Chaoqun Dang earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong in 2021. The same year, she started her career as a Principal Investigator at the ZJU-Hangzhou Global Scientific and Technological Innovation Center and the School of Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University. In 2022, she was named one of the Innovators Under 35 China by MIT Technology Review. Her research focuses on nanomechanics of manufacturing, with support from the National Key R&D Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and other funding sources.
